My son and I went on a long drive to see some dinosaurs (slightly animated foam & latex ones). We saw two interesting vehicles that I thought needed photos.
Yes, someone in the US Military decided young Arnold should flex his bicep every time it rains.
I actually felt pretty sorry for the person driving this McLaren. Traffic never went faster than 50kph for the 15km I was behind it.
In personal car news the Fit averages 10.5 km per liter city & 13 highway after the air filter was replaced. That’s a 20% increase which is good.

13 km on a liter of gasoline is still pretty bad for a car like the F it though .

Yeah, some of it is living on an island that is all hills. Some of it is driving style, and the rest of it is needing to go through all the other possible problems.
It is a 10 year old car, so I’m sure I should clean the MAFS (especially with how bad the old air filter was) , and I think I should probably do the plugs as well, but it sounds a bit annoying getting to them.

False, just ask the guy on the minivan forum, a dirty air filter cannot affect fuel economy, any increase you’ve seen is due to placebo effect.....
